During these troubled times, Noah, the son of Lamech and Ashura, was born. From a young age, he followed in the footsteps of his ancestors, walking in the ways of God. Despite the moral decline of the sons of men, Noah remained committed to righteousness.

The sons of men multiplied on the Earth, teaching each other evil practices, sinning against the Lord, and even making themselves into gods. They plundered and caused violence, corrupting the Earth with no remorse. The judges and rulers took wives by force and engaged in unnatural mixtures of animals, provoking the Lord to the point of extreme anger.

In response to the wickedness of the sons of men, the Lord declared his intent to wipe out humanity from the face of the Earth. However, Noah and his family found grace in the sight of the Lord, ultimately saving them from the impending annihilation.
