The way to change entropy is to rework it. Rather than an all-or-nothing class, it should allow for some damage even if you miss the front or back attack. The design should make it a nice-to-have to hit the back, rather than a requirement. Remove the limitation on raid design and make it more interesting to play. It's a fundamental aspect of Lost Ark's unique gameplay.

Last night, my chat asked me what I would do to change entropy and while I have talked about this topic a little bit in the past, my understanding of the game and the game itself has changed quite a bit. I aim to show that stream highlight here on the channel today and spark a discussion on the topic. As always, I stream every single night on twitch.tv/meoxshiru, starting at 10 p.m. PST. Also, I am doing my first 24-hour stream this Saturday starting around 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. PST. Hoping to see you guys there. If not, I'll see you in the next video. Alright guys, enjoy!
🎮 Proposed Changes to Entropy 📝
The way I propose to change entropy is by reworking it. Entropy is currently an "All or Nothing" class, where you either hit the front or the back for full damage, or you get zero damage if you hit the sides. I suggest keeping the two set bonus the same, but modifying the six set bonus to be a flat damage increase rather than a requirement for front or back attacks. This way, even if you miss the front or back attack, your damage won't decrease as drastically.
💡 New Gameplay Style Ideas 🌟
I think entropy should be more like a "nice to have" rather than a necessity. Hitting the side is okay, but hitting the front and back should provide a boost. It's a min-max situation where hitting the side is fine, but achieving maximum damage requires hitting the front and back.
🎯 A Solution for Raid Design 🎮
Entropy presents limitations for raid design, as bosses need to accommodate front and back attacks. Extending this to include the front 180 as a front attack and the back 180 as a back attack could enhance gameplay and level the playing field.
📈 The State of Entropy in Lost Ark 🌐
Entropy has gone through phases of strength and weakness. Currently, entropy is considered strong due to certain classes. While there are concerns about raid design and the limitations imposed by entropy, completely removing it may impact the game's uniqueness and fun factor.
📊 Class Tiers in Lost Ark 🏆
As per the latest balance patch, death blades are currently strong. Certain classes have been moved up or down tiers based on balance changes. It's interesting to note that even in an entropy-friendly raid, non-entropy classes still rank high.
🔗 Post-theine Class Rankings 🚀
In the post-theine era, death blade and soul eaters are among the strongest classes. Non-entropy classes continue to dominate the top tier rankings. Even in an entropy-friendly raid, a mix of entropy and non-entropy classes occupy the top tiers.
🔮 Potential Changes and Considerations 💭
Proposed changes, such as considering damage start times and re-evaluating strength in certain classes, could contribute to a more balanced and inclusive gameplay experience.
