Tiny Tina's Wonderlands had the potential to be the best in the series, but fell short. The Chaos Chambers could have been more unique, with raid bosses and better rewards. The DLCs were a missed opportunity, and loot luck made the game too easy. It's important for fans to support the devs, despite the game's flaws. Let's hope for a better future for the series! 🎮
One thing that I've been thinking about recently is how much potential wonderlands really had and how gearbox just seemingly threw the game to the Wayside like when I think about wonderlands now I think about the DLCs being too short and the chaos Chambers being so grindy and boring after level 20 not to mention how short the story is I'll be it good but short that's why today I want to take the time to talk about the Lost potential of wonderlands.
I really like the idea of the chaos Chambers but the execution not so much so let's talk about what I would have done to make them better. First, I would have had 15 chaos levels total but instead of the 15 levels being the same old random maps and enemies just slightly more difficult I would have made each chamber a unique takedown like the ones from Borderlands 3 to really test your build and make sure that you were powerful enough to progress. The community would have loved to have something like his because not only would the chambers be unique with every level but they would all contain a raid style boss at the end.
The rewards for completing the chambers seemed a little lackluster. Instead, what I would have done was expand on the class system in the game and make a smaller third skill tree that would give Buffs to your existing two classes. After hitting tier five in the chambers, you would be granted some points for your new tree then again at tier 10 and finally at Tier 15. This would make builds even more viable but also diverse giving wonderlands even more unique and varied builds.
The potential for DLC in wonderlands was astronomical. Instead, the game left much to be desired with the released DLCs. The possibilities they had were endless, from becoming a pirate searching for Davy Jones Locker to venturing into the worlds of The Witcher or Skyrim. The devs could have taken us anywhere in their fantasy world, but they fell short and delivered disappointing additions.
Lately, the Borderlands games have felt very easy, with loot luck making the base drop chances practically zero. In wonderlands, it felt like I was getting a legendary every 2 seconds with higher loot luck. Gearbox needed to go back to the days of Borderlands 1 and 2 by scrapping loot luck altogether and making the drop rates way lower to restore the thrill of hunting for rare loot.
I feel like lately in gaming there's been a lot of hate directed towards devs instead of parent companies. While there has been hate thrown towards the dev team, the majority of Borderlands players will still support and buy games moving forward because we know what this Dev team is capable of. The recent leaks showing work being done on Borderlands 4 and wonderlands 2 couldn't be more exciting and the community couldn't be more ready. We hope the dev team brings their A-game because we're all passionate and just want what's best for the series.
In conclusion, it's important to remember that it's not the developers' fault and we still support the team moving forward. If you have something to say about wonderlands and its lost potential or just want to say hi, let me know in the comments. A like would be awesome as it helps me out a ton, and if you want to see more of my content, consider subbing. That's all for today. Thank you again and goodbye. 🎮
