After a rocky start, we soared into the galaxy with our space combat game, EVERSPACE, winning over fans and critics alike. Facing setbacks and compromises, we've stayed true to our vision and are now thrilled to announce our new independent game, a labor of love from our German team. 🚀 Building a Studio From Scratch

In the last 10 years, ROCKFISH Games has accomplished a lot, and it has been an incredible journey for them and their loyal fans. Starting from scratch, the studio's founders booted ROCKFISH Games as a new studio, not certain where the journey would take them. Thanks to their veteran team and their ambition, they were able to build a new foundation and draw in a huge fan base.

🛸 From Concept to Success

With a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, combining space combat exploration gameplay with roguelike mechanics and a compelling story, ROCKFISH Games received great appreciation for their new approach and the release of their debut title on PC and console. However, due to budget constraints, the overall concept was a compromise on their initial vision of an open-world space combat game.

The Journey Continues

"Ever Space 2" has been the largest project and the biggest investment by far. Even with the financial risk and hard work, the team is not done yet. The base game is being migrated to Unreal Engine 5, with a free update coming soon, and more premium content scheduled for later in the year.
