An Overview of Project Diablo 2 Anarchy Starting Soon 🎮

Project Diablo I Anarchy is set to begin on April 12th, with the open Beta rolling from April 8th through the 10th. The Close beta will begin on March 30th and last until April 7th. Notably, melee is receiving a significant buff this season due to the fixing of a bug called Next hit always misses.

Bug Fixes and Changes ⚙️

The bug fix for 'Next hit always misses' has resolved the issue of randomly missing melee attacks when taking damage. This bug was previously affecting the performance of sacrifice and holy Shield paladins. Additionally, range checks for melee have been fixed, and the next hit delay has been reworked.

Reworked Necromancer Skills

The Necromancer has received some updates in Season 9, including a rework of the poison dagger skill. Now, poison dagger drops a poison plague if the enemy dies, which continues to spread over time. Moreover, all necro summons will carry over between games or while switching characters, eliminating cooldowns for summoning pets in town.

Gameplay Improvements and Adjustments 🎮

In addition to the specific class changes, there have been general improvements and adjustments to gameplay. Notably, map density values have been buffed, allowing lower geared characters to map without feeling isolated. Crafting infusions from the Crafters League will make an appearance, and the maximum sprite limit has been increased to prevent invisible skill effects.

Quality of Life and Developer Streams

To enhance the gameplay experience, the development team has rewritten Uber Tris codes and introduced quality of life improvements, such as a filter in the public lobby for normal, Nightmare, and Hell games. Developer streams for season 9 will also be available every Saturday leading up to the launch.

Concluding Remarks

Overall, Project Diablo 2 Anarchy Season 9 brings a range of bug fixes, class reworks, and gameplay improvements to enrich the player experience. As the transition to the new season approaches, the community is eagerly anticipating the upcoming changes.
