The leaked patch notes suggest a possible return of the composite gem system, a feature previously removed due to community backlash. This new function allows players to split high ranked gems into lower ranked ones without any loss, potentially reviving the unpopular composite gem system. Additionally, there are hints of character appearance customization improvements, which could excite players who enjoy personalizing their in-game avatars. Stay tuned for the official patch notes tomorrow! 💎🛠️ #DiabloImmortal #PatchLeak

Normal Gems Split Function 💎

Welcome back to the channel, everyone! It seems like the minor update patch notes have been leaked, which we should be getting officially on the Blizzard website tomorrow. However, for now, let's take a quick look at what we're getting with this minor update on the 6th of March. It's important to note that these are not the full patch notes, and there will be more things coming with this update, such as the battle pass and some other minor changes. Now let's dive into these leak Chinese patch notes and see what the transl tells us.

The first feature here is for normal gems, a new function allows us to split High ranked gems into low ranked gems without any loss. This means being able to break a rank eight normal gem back into three pieces of rank seven. It's also worth noting that in doing so, the gems will become untradeable, so we won't able to sell it on the market. This feature can be used three times a week and the echo crystals used to upgrade the gems will also be returned after after the split so we won't lose any resources.

Composite Gems 💎💎

Honestly, it seems like we might be getting the composite gem system back, which was removed from the game before it even came out due to the entire Community agreeing that it was bad leading to a significant backlash. But let's take a quick look at what the composite gem feature was.

Composite gems are a new gem type that can be crafted at the Jeweler and traded in Winton's Grand Market. These gems are a combination of both normal gems for a given color socket. Composite gems can be made from ranks 5 to 10 normal gems, but both gems must be of the same rank. Composite gems will have the attributes of both gems used to craft them. Composite gems can be upgraded to higher ranks at the Jeweler by combining multiple composite gems of the same Rank and type like how normal gems are upgraded.

Here is a screenshot of a jeweler crafting a composite gem using Sapphire and aquamarine. In my opinion, this system is still bad and should not come to the game unless they increase the amount of normal gems we can Farm by three times inside of the game.

Optimization of Features 🔄

Moving forward, some of the translations are very broken, so I will be skipping some of these features here like matching optimization of holy Miracle War song or on the premise of keeping the strength of both sides similar make the proportion of melee and long-range classes on both sides similar. I don't know what exactly they mean so I will move on to the next one, which is optimization of familiars and appearance functions. No idea what the appearance feature will be, maybe cosmetic, but I highly doubt it.

Anyhow, the last one is for our character appearance customization; now we will able to change the appearance of our character every day instead of every s days, which is good for players who are into character customization. That is everything for now. Tomorrow, we will be getting the official patch notes for the 6th of March minor update, and I am hoping to hear a bit more about the upcoming major update. Consider leaving a like and enjoy your weekend.
