Importance of Set and Legendary Attributes 🛡️

Today we are going to discuss how you should utilize your Paragon points and which Paragon trees are optimal for specific activities before we talk about Paragon Point distribution. I want to touch on the importance of the attributes that you get from your set and legendary items. It's shocking how many people still don't know these attributes actually increase your armor, armor penetration, potency, resistance, damage, and life. You can see how much they affect their individual stats by tapping on them. For example, I have 9,355 fortitude which gives me 935 armor and armor penetration. Basically, 1 fortitude gives 0.1 armor and armor penetration. This applies to other stats as well - Willow gives potency and resistance, Vitality increases your life, and strength or intelligence increases your damage. So, this is a really good and free opportunity to increase your secondary stats. Just pay attention to the attributes you have on your set and legendary items.

The Role of Fortitude and Willpower 💪

Personally, I try to find items with both fortitude and willpower. If I have to use an item with three stats, then I look for strength, fortitude, and willpower. You might ask, why not vitality and strength to increase your life and damage? Well, that is a simple answer. When we get into Battlegrounds, our life and damage get heavily compressed. That's why I focus on fortitude and willpower to increase my armor, armor penetration, potency, and resistance - these don't get compressed and we have the full effect of them. This is the main reason why a lot of met resonance players first focus on normal gems to increase their secondary stats instead of resonance. Anyways, I don't want to get too off topic since my goal is to explain the importance of the stats.

Optimizing Paragon Point Distribution 🌟

Paragon Point distribution can be different for each class and even each build, but you can make those adjustments however you feel comfortable. I'm just going to show you how I do it and I usually use it like this on all classes. By the way, I'm assuming you are around Paragon level 1,240 and have unlocked all Paragon trees.

Customizing Paragon Setup 🎮

It's time to make some important decisions. You need to choose between resistance and potency to give one of them more points. If you are playing with a build that focuses on control effects or damage overtime effects, going for potency will be the better option for you. Because potency increases the duration of those kinds of effects. But if you don't have anything to do with that, you can focus on resistance. Next, you need to spend some of the points on the important Paragon notes to get the specialization skills you want. Once again, this will depend on which paragon specializations you want to use so you can customize it but I use warden for PVP and sometimes for open world farm as well to move around a little bit faster thanks to the size increase. This is how I use my Paragon setup, but of course, feel free to customize it to your needs.
