League Start Necropolis Mechanic: Your Complete Guide to 3.24

3.24 Necropolis League is full of surprises. Special haunted monsters in each zone, lantern of aramore, Embers of the all flame, and a necropolis for storing corpses. Crafting with corpses is like fossil crafting. Ubers are now accessed through fragments, and there are new Atlas trees. But hey, there are new support gems and some cool changes too! The league is definitely worth diving into.🔮

Introduction 🎮

Welcome back to 3.24 Necropolis League! In this article, we'll cover all the essential information you need to know for the league start. Please note that this information is compiled from various sources such as patch notes, interviews, reveals, and FAQs.

The sources for this information will be listed in the link in the description below, and a video will follow to update you with any new strategies or information that may arise after the release.

Understanding the Lantern of Aramore 🏮

The core mechanic of the Necropolis League revolves around the special monsters haunted in each zone and the League NPC, The Undertaker.

| Affected Monsters | Modifiers |

|---|---|
| Monsters with specific abilities | Increased density & pack size |
| Monsters with different damage types | Variances from normal pack distribution |

Hovering over these monsters provides more information and fully clearing affected monsters increases the odds of the next zone having devoted monsters rather than modifiers.

Embers of the All Flame and Crafting 🔥

As you progress, you'll encounter Embers of the All Flame, which can be stored in the lantern. You can use these to modify your monsters by swapping them with a different mob from a specialty loot pool. Be mindful of hoarding these Embers as they have a monster level.

Summoning the Undertaker and Crafting Process 💀

When slaying monsters, some will have unresolved anguish, prompting an interaction to summon the Undertaker. The necropolis is where all the corpses are stored, and you can have a maximum of 64 before you'll need to click the cremade icon or buy an empty coffin for one chaos.

Burying and Exercising Corpses Table

Action Effect
Burying one corpse Starts the crafting process
Filling the cemetery with adjacent touching corpses Consumes all the corpses to start crafting

Changes in the Atlas Tree 🗺️

Significant core changes have been made in the Atlas tree, including the addition of four clusters spread apart that modify the league mechanic on the Atlas tree.

Miscellaneous Changes and Additions 🎲

Several other gameplay changes and additions have been made, such as the introduction of new skill gems, player and ascendancy changes, and tweaks to various aspects of the game.

Skill Gems Table

New Skill Gem Description
Automation Support Autocasts instant skills on cooldown
Call to Arms Support Automatically shouts your war cry

In conclusion, the 3.24 Necropolis Mechanic introduces exciting new gameplay elements and significant changes to the Atlas tree, making it a compelling update for both new and veteran players. We hope this guide provides you with a good understanding of what to expect at the start of the league!
