Introduction
Table of Contents
In this article, I will be ranking all the masteries in Last Epoch from worst to best, giving you an in-depth look at each one and providing my personal opinions on their performance.
The Forge Guard: The Worst
At the bottom of the list, we have the Forge Guard, which lacks build diversity and relies heavily on the manifest armor. It struggles with skill synergies, making it feel outdated and limited in options.
The Shaman: Outdated Skills and Synergies
Slightly better than the Forge Guard, the Shaman suffers from outdated skills and lacks of synergy between them. The upcoming rework for 1.0 is hoped to rejuvenate its playstyle.
- This really isn't one of the older masteries that are available in the game.
The Spellblade: In Need of Love
The Mage class's Spellblade ranks low due to its outdated feel and lack of updates. Despite its high damage output and stacking buffs, it still feels unenjoyable to play.
It's been years since it's really gotten any sort of update.
The Lich: One-Dimensional Playstyle
The Lich's reliance on Reaper form and limited build diversity places it in the number 10 spot. While it offers a couple of builds, it lacks the variety and synergies needed to compete with higher-ranking masteries.
Druid: Transformation Synergies
The Druid boasts strong synergies within its Transformation skills, offering potential for improvement if its passive tree and other skills receive updates.
Skill Transformation | Synergy |
---|---|
Arctic Wolf | Increased Movement SPD |
Entangling Roots | Root and Damage |
The Sorcerer: A Fun Yet Outdated Class
Despite its age and lack of updates, the Sorcerer offers fun gameplay and build diversity. However, its outdated feel holds it back from a higher ranking.
Necromancer: Outdated Yet Versatile
The Necromancer shines with a variety of minion skills and build diversity, but its outdated passive tree and skills pull it down the list.
Paladin: Build Diversity and Synergies
The Paladin's solid build diversity and numerous synergies help it secure its place in the list. With options for various playstyles, it offers a well-rounded experience.
Void Knight: Limited Synergies and Build Diversity
While the Void Knight offers numerous playstyles, its outdated passive tree limits synergies and holds it back from a higher ranking.
