In builds using the blood Notch immutable Force tech, the setup works if the hit is large enough to stun. However, three conditions need to be met to prevent a hit from stunning you and thereby prevent blood Notch from recovering a significant amount of life.
- The hit needs to be a Critical Strike
- The damage needs to be cold damage
- The attacker's critical strikes need to have the capacity to freeze
